1 | Celery - diced | |
2 | Onions - sliced | |
4 | Green peppers - cut in | |
1 | Garlic - minced | |
2 | Okra | |
1 | Tomatoes | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Catsup |
1 | Beer | |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Shrimp - cooked |
And pepper | ||
4 cups | 640g / 22oz | Cooked rice |
Cook bacon; reserve. Saute celery, onions, green peppers and garlic in bacon fat until soft.
Drain okra; add with tomatoes, catsup and beer. Simmer until thick.
Add shrimp and bacon. Heat well.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve with rice.
