Pasta W/Mussels Recipe - Cooking Index
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Butter |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Olive oil |
20 | Chopped garlic | |
6 oz | 170g | Canned or frozen mussels |
1 oz | 28g | Green pepper - diced (small) |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Red wine |
1 | Italian tomatoes - crush | |
Hand | ||
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Chopped fresh parsley |
Cheese for topping |
Melt butter in olive oil. Saute garlic and pepper for 2-3 minutes.
Add tomatoes and wine and simmer for 30 minutes Add mussels and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
Mix in fresh parsley and turn off heat. Let sit for 10 minutes.
Season w/salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over hot pasta.
