New Orleans Bbq Shrimp

Recipe Ingredients

14   Fresh shrimp - heads on. (large)
6 tablespoons 90mlCold unsalted butter - cut in
1 1/2 teaspoons 7.5mlBlack pepper - ground
1 1/2 teaspoons 7.5mlBlack pepper - cracked
1 teaspoon 5mlCreole seasoning*
3 tablespoons 45mlWorcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon 5mlGarlic
  One lemon - juice of
  *** Creole seasoning**
8 oz 227gSalt
2 oz 56gGarlic powder
2 oz 56gBlack pepper
1 teaspoon 5mlCayenne pepper
1 teaspoon 5mlThyme
1 teaspoon 5mlOregano
2 oz 56gPaprika
1 tablespoon 15mlGranulated onion

Recipe Instructions

Mix the Creole spice ingredients together and store in sealed container.

Place the shrimp and all the ingredients except lemon juice and 3 oz. of butter in a large saute pan so that the shrimp are in one layer.

Place shrimp in 450F oven for two minutes. Remove and begin to saute over moderate heat.

Add lemon juice and remaining butter by swirling pan and stirring with a fork.

Serve in bowl with sauce and lots of bread for dipping. (And lots of napkins!!)
