Mr. Food's Cream Of Asparagus And Seafood Soup Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter or margarine |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Onion - chopped (small) |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Clam juice |
1 | Condensed cream of asparagus soup | |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Milk |
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Imitation crabmeat - cut up (1 cup) |
1 | Frozen cut asparagus - thawed/drained | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Black pepper |
In a medium saucepan, melt butter over Medium heat. Add onion and cook 5 minutes, or until tender.
Add clam juice, cream of asparagus soup and milk. Slowly bring to a boil, stirring often.
Add crabmeat and asparagus, reduce heat to Low. Add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper; simmer 5 minutes.
