Mock Hollandaise Sauce (Low Cholesterol) Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Hellmann's real mayonnaise |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dry mustard |
2 | Egg whites | |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt - (optional) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
In small saucepan with wire whisk beat all ingredients until smooth.
Stirring constantly , cook over medium-low heat until thick (do not boil). Serve over vegetables or fish.
Makes 1 1/2 cups.
