Lobster and Angel Hair Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Lobster - cooked | |
16 oz | 454g | Angel hair pasta - cooked |
1 | Knorr's creamy pesto pasta sauce mix | |
1 cup | 237ml | Skim milk |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Olive oil - or to taste |
Old bay spice - to taste | ||
Parmesan cheese - optional |
Crack lobster into pieces. Remove claw and tail meat; set aside. Boil the rest of the lobster (shells and all) in water with Old Bay spice for a few hours (until the flavors come out of the shell). Strain liquid leaving any pieces of meat. Reduce liquid until about 1/4 or 1/2 cup is left. Dice the lobster meat into very small pieces. To liquid add, sauce mix, milk, and oil.
Cook slowly (while stirring) for about 10 minutes. (This is a good time to boil the water and cook the pasta.) When sauce starts to thicken, add lobster meat. Cook for a few more minutes.
Remove sauce from heat and allow sauce to cool slightly and thicken. Toss sauce with pasta. Serve immediately. (Any leftovers are also delicious!! Just microwave.)
