Hot Crab Spread - Diabetic Recipe - Cooking Index
8 oz | 227g | Cream cheese - light |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Cottage cheese - low fat |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Lemon juice |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Skim milk |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Basil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Marjoram |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Oregano |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Thyme |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Garlic powder |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Surimi - or shrimp or crab |
In a large bowl mix cream cheese and cottage cheese until smooth.
Gradually blend in lemon juice and milk. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour in quiche dish or pie pan.
Cover and bake at 350F for about 15 min or until hot.
Serve with crackers and vegetable tray.
