Old-Fashioned Pineapple Ice Recipe - Cooking Index
3 | Fresh pineapple | |
1 cup | 237ml | Unsweetened pineapple juice |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Buttermilk |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sugar |
Cut the pineapple into 1-inch pieces. Wrap in a single layer of plastic wrap and freeze until solid (four or more hours).
Place pineapple, juice, buttermilk and sugar into a food processor and puree until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately. Do not refreeze.
This recipe yields 6 half-cup servings.
