Hoisin-Sesame Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Sesame oil |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Crushed red pepper flakes |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced ginger |
| 1 | Garlic - minced | |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Hoisin sauce |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Balsamic vinegar |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Soy sauce |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh orange juice |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground coriander |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chinese 5 spice powder |
Heat oil with pepper flakes in small skillet. Add ginger and garlic; saute until softened, 1 to 2 minutes.
Pour this flavored oil into a small bowl; stir in remaining ingredients. Serve warm or at room temperature.
