Oatmeal Pancakes Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Oatmeal |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking soda |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Flour |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Egg substitute |
2 cups | 474ml | Buttermilk |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Honey |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Oil |
Combine dry ingredients. Combine egg substitute, buttermilk, honey and oil. Add to dry ingredients and mix until slightly moistened. Cook on non-stick or lightly oiled griddle.
This recipe yields 8 pancakes.
Suggested Toppings: Sprinkle with cinnamon (0 calories); 1/2 cup apple slices or unsweetened applesauce (50 calories or 1 fruit exchange); 1 cup sliced peaches or unsweetened canned peaches (75 calories or 1 fruit serving).
