1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Old-fashioned type rolled oats |
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Apple cut into chunks - see * Note |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Honey |
Cinnamon - to taste |
* Note: May substitute peaches, pears, berries, or half the amount of raisins.
Combine water and oats. Cook about 5 minutes over medium heat stirring occasionally. Top with fruit. Drizzle with honey. Dash with cinnamon.
This recipe yields 1 hearty serving.
