Grilled Fish with Pineapple-Cilantro Sauce

Recipe Ingredients

1   Pineapple - (about 2 lb), (medium) peeled, cored and cut into 1" chunks
3/4 cup 177mlUnsweetened pineapple juice
2 tablespoons 30mlLime juice
1   Garlic - minced
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlTo 1 teaspoon jalapeno pepper
2 tablespoons 30mlMinced cilantro
1 tablespoon 15mlCornstarch
2 tablespoons 30mlCold water
2 tablespoons 30mlBrown sugar
  Salt
  Pepper
6   Halibut, haddock or salmon steaks or fillets. Grilled

Recipe Instructions

Heat pineapple, juices, sugar, garlic and jalapeno pepper to boiling in a medium saucepan; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered about 5 minutes. Stir in cilantro; heat to boiling.

Mix cornstarch and cold water, stir into boiling mixture. Boil, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat; cool 2-3 minutes.

Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve warm over Fish or Pork.
