Lemon-Thyme Vinaigrette Recipe - Cooking Index
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Shallot - minced (small) |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Finely-grated lemon zest |
(outer yellow rind of the lemon) | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chopped fresh thyme leaves |
(discard hard stem and just use leaves) | ||
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Fresh lemon juice |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Dijon mustard |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Olive oil |
In a small bowl, whisk all the ingredients together. Set aside for 30 minutes at room temperature to develop the flavors. Do not store this dressing.
