1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon or lime juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Unsalted chicken broth |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Cornstarch |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Grated lemon or lime peel |
In a 2 cup microwaveable measuring cup combine all ingredients. Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes, or until clear and thickened. Serve as a topping for chicken, fish or vegetables.
This recipe yields four 2-tablespoon servings.
