Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 cup | 148g / 5.2oz | Butter, softened |
3/4 cup | 120g / 4.2oz | Lightly packed brown sugar |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Granulated sugar |

2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Vanilla |
3/4 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | All purpose flour |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Baking soda |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cinnamon |
3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Rolled oats |
1 1/2 cups | 240g / 8.5oz | Raisins |
Cream butter, sugars, egg, water and vanilla together on medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy. Combine flour, soda and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture, beating on low speed until blended. Stir in oats and raisins. Drop dough by heaping tablespoons onto greased baking sheets. Press flat for crisp cookies, leave mounded for chewy cookies.
Bake at 350 F (180C) for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are golden brown. Don't over bake. Makes about 30 cookies.
