Curried Apples And Shrimp Recipe - Cooking Index
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Onion - chopped (medium) |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Flour |
1 | Celery - chopped | |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Water |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter or margarine |
Chicken bouillon cube | ||
Apples - sliced | ||
3/4 lb | 340g / 11oz | Med shrimp - shelled and cleaned |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Curry powder |
Saute onion and celery in butter for 2 minutes. Add apple slices and saute another minute.
Blend in curry and flour, add bouillon cube and water, stirring until well blended.
Add shrimp, cover and simmer for 3 minutes, or until shrimp in no longer translucent. Good with rice.
