Crabmeat Quiche Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Unbaked pie shell - (8 to 9) | |
2 cups | 474ml | Half and half |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Swiss cheese - grated |
Salt and pepper to taste | ||
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Crabmeat |
4 | Eggs | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Red pepper |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Onions - minced (large) |
Place crabmeat over bottom of pie shell, sprinkle onion and then cheese on top.
Beat eggs with salt and cream. Pour egg mixture over all.
Bake in preheated 425F for 5 minutes Reduce heat to 350F and cook until firm.
Foil can be placed over crust to prevent burning.
Slice and serve with sweet type of salad, such as pineapple.
