Cottage Tuna Noodle Recipe - Cooking Index
6 oz | 170g | Uncooked noodles - (4 cups cooked) |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Chopped onion |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Cottage cheese |
1 | Sour cream - (8 oz.) | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
1 | Tuna - (6 1/2 oz.) | |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Grated Romano cheese |
Cook noodles according to package directions, until tender. Drain. Add onion, salt, pepper, cottage cheese, imitation sour cream, water, and tuna.
Mix well. Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Top with cheese.
Bake in 400F oven for 20 minutes or until bubbly. Serve hot.
Makes 6-8 servings, 3/4 cup each.
