Charleston Shrimp Supreme Recipe - Cooking Index
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Flour |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Milk |
1 | Bay leaf | |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Red pepper |
1/2 | Juice of 1 lemon | |
8 tablespoons | 120ml | Tomato catsup |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Worcestershire sauce |
Salt and pepper to taste | ||
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Shrimp - cooked |
Cream butter and flour. Add milk and make a thick cream sauce.
Add remaining ingredients, except shrimp. Salt and pepper to taste.
Add cooked shrimp and heat until very hot.
Serve with rice.
