Catfish Parmesan Recipe - Cooking Index
6 | Pan-dressed whole catfish or catfish fillets | |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Dry breadcrumbs |
3/4 cup | 109g / 3.8oz | Grated parmesan cheese |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Parsley - chopped |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Paprika |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Oregano |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Basil |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt or to taste |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Pepper |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Margarine or cooking oil |
Lemon wedges |
Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, paprika, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Dip Catfish in melted butter or oil and roll in crumb mixture.
Arrange in well-greased 14 by 9 by 2" baking dish.
Bake in preheated 375F oven for 25 minutes or until fish flakes easily. Cooking time will be less if using fillets.
Garnish with lemon wedges.
