The Mexican Wrap Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Mild salsa |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Canned black beans - drained, rinsed |
4 | Flour tortillas | |
4 | Turkey | |
8 oz | 227g | Monterey Jack cheese - grated |
1 cup | 237ml | Shredded Romaine lettuce |
In the food processor, combine the salsa and the black beans. Blend until combined but still chunky. Lay out a tortilla and spread one fourth of the bean mixture over it, leaving a 1/2-inch border. On the bottom half, lay a piece of turkey, 2 ounces of cheese and some shredded lettuce. Fold one end of the tortilla in toward the center and then, from the bottom half, roll it closed. Wrap in foil or waxed paper.
This recipe yields 4 wraps.
