Quick Milk-Chocolate Fondue

Recipe Ingredients

3/4 cup 177mlHeavy cream
12 oz 340gMilk chocolate - chopped
1 tablespoon 15mlVanilla extract
3 tablespoons 45mlAny liqueur - (optional)
  Foods For Dipping
  Apple, banana or pineapple slices
  Citrus sections
  Strawberries
  Grapes
  Dried fruit
  Cubes of sponge cake or pound cake
  Caramels
  Marshmallows
  Candied orange peel
  Pretzels
  Potato chips

Recipe Instructions

In a medium saucepan, warm the cream over medium-high heat just until simmering. Remove from the heat; add the chocolate. Stir until melted. Stir in vanilla and liqueur. Serve in a heated fondue pot or a bowl set on a platter with the dipping goodies. The fondue will still be soft enough for dipping after it has come to room temperature.

This recipe yields 2 cups of fondue.
