Nuoc Cham - (Vietnamese Lime Sauce) Recipe - Cooking Index
6 tablespoons | 90ml | Fresh lime juice |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Asian fish sauce (preferably nuoc mam) |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Warm water |
1 | Garlic clove - forced through press | |
2 | Fresh red or green Asian chilies (1" to (small) | |
2" long) or serrano chilies - seeded, and | ||
Chopped fine |
In a small bowl stir together all ingredients until sugar is dissolved.
This recipe yields about 1 cup.
