Breakfast Sausage Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Coarse-ground turkey |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Seasoned bread crumbs |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped onion |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped parsley |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vegetable oil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Sage |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Thyme |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Black and red pepper |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 | Egg white |
Combine all ingredients except egg white. Gently beat egg white with a fork and add to meat mixture. Mix well. Shape into 12 patties. Cook in a non-stick skillet until done, or it may be broiled approximately four minutes on each side.
This recipe yields 6 servings, with two patties per serving.
