Berry-Ginger Ice Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Fresh blackberries |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Sliced fresh strawberries |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Fresh blueberries |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Grated peeled fresh ginger |
1 cup | 237ml | Unsweetened sparkling lemon-lime water |
Fresh mint - for garnish |
Place blackberries and water into covered microwave dish. Microwave on medium until berries are soft. Strain through fine sieve or cheesecloth. Discard seeds.
Place strawberries, blueberries, sugar, grated ginger, sparkling water and blackberry puree into food processor. Process until smooth. Pour into shallow container and freeze. Serve garnished with fresh mint.
