Parmesan cheese - to taste | ||

Peel the carrots and using the peeler, make long ribbons. Put the carrot ribbons in a skillet with 1/4-inch of water and the butter. Cook covered until tender, add the peas, cheese, salt and pepper and bread crumbs. Serve as a main dish for children and a side dish for grownups.
