All Purpose Grilling Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Onion - chopped | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter - melted |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Vinegar |
1 cup | 237ml | Tomato juice |
1 cup | 237ml | Tomato sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire Sauce |
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Brown sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dry mustard |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Paprika |
Saute chopped onions in butter over low heat. Add rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 2 cups.
Use as a sauce for meat or chicken. May also be used as a marinade or brush on when grilling.
