Sugared Pecans Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Pecan halves |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Egg whites |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
Place pecans in a 9- by 13-inch pan. Pour the whites over the pecans and rub them between your hands until coated. Using a slotted spoon toss the pecans with sugar.
Bake the pecans in a preheated 325 degree oven for 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes until sugar coating is even.
This recipe yields 2 cups of sugared pecans.
