Spicy Red Salsa Recipe - Cooking Index
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Fresh tomatoes - peeled, seeded, (large) |
And finely chopped | ||
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Seeded, finely-chopped fresh jalapeno |
Chiles | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Finely-chopped cilantro |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Red onion - finely chopped (small) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Garlic clove - minced (medium) |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Red wine vinegar |
(or 1 tspn freshly-squeezed lemon juice) | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well. Taste for seasoning. Cover and refrigerate.
This recipe yields about 1 quart.
