Green Chile Salsa

Recipe Ingredients

3/4 lb 340g / 11ozTomatillos
1/2 lb 227g / 8ozOnion - finely chopped (small)
1   Serrano chile - finely chopped
1   Yellow chile - finely chopped (small)
2 teaspoons 10mlFreshly-squeezed lemon juice
2 teaspoons 10mlGarlic cloves - minced (medium)
2 tablespoons 30mlChopped cilantro
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt

Recipe Instructions

Put tomatillos into a pan with water to cover and bring to a boil. Simmer gently for 10 minutes. Drain, cool, and core.

Cut tomatillos into small dice or finely chop in a food processor fitted with the steel blade. Place in bowl.

Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate.

This recipe yields 2 1/2 cups of salsa.
