Couscous With Raisins Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Raisins |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Unsalted butter |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Water or homemade salt-free chicken stock |
1 | Cinnamon stick | |
1 cup | 237ml | Couscous |
In a saucepan combine raisins, butter, water and cinnamon stick and bring to a boil. Stir in couscous, cover and remove from heat. Allow to sit for 5 minutes. Uncover and fluff couscous with a fork. Serve warm or at room temperature.
This recipe yields about 2 1/2 to 3 cups.
