Brandied Krok-A-Cheese Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
1 | Cream cheese | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Brandy |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Olive oil |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dry mustard |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Minced garlic |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
Put the cheddar and cream cheese in a 2 quart glass microwave dish, and zap at 50% for 3 - 5 minutes, stirring every minute until softened. Stir in the rest of the ingredients and beat with an electric mixer until soft and creamy. Pack in a crock or bowl with tight fitting lid.
Refrigerate for at least a week. Serve at room temperature as a spread or dip.
