1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter |
3/4 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | All-purpose flour |
Melt the butter and cook the flour in it for 2 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally. Roux can be stored in a cool place, up to 2 weeks in a refrigerator, or made up as and when required.
