Turkey Patties In Mushroom Wine Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Fresh mushrooms - sliced |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Chopped onion |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Margarine |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground turkey |
1 | Egg | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Italian herb blend |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Dry red wine |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Cracked pepper |
Saute half the mushrooms and the chopped onion in margarine in a large frying pan. Combine sauteed vegetables with turkey, egg, salt, and herbs. Shape turkey mixture into 4 patties.
Broil 3-5 minutes on each side until cooked through. While patties are cooking, add remaining mushrooms, wine, and pepper to frying pan. Simmer gently and serve sauce over patties.
