Turkey Dressing

Recipe Ingredients

2 teaspoons 10mlSalt
2 teaspoons 10mlSage - ground
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlThyme
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlBaking powder
1 teaspoon 5mlWhite pepper
6 cups 876g / 30ozSoft bread crumbs --
  Toasted
6 cups 375g / 13ozCornbread stuffing
2   Eggs - beaten
1/2 cup 99g / 3.5ozButter
2 tablespoons 30mlBacon fat
1   Onion - chopped
2 tablespoons 30mlFresh parsley - minced
2   Celery stalks --
  Chopped
  Turkey giblets stock

Recipe Instructions

Combine salt, sage, thyme, baking powder, pepper, bread crumbs, and eggs.

Melt butter with bacon fat in skillet on low heat; add onion, celery and parsley.

Simmer for about 15 minutes. Mix together the butter and crumb mixtures. Soften to your taste with stock made from stewed giblets.
