Turkey Dressing Recipe - Cooking Index

2 teaspoons | 10ml | Sage - ground |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Thyme |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | White pepper |
6 cups | 876g / 30oz | Soft bread crumbs -- |

6 cups | 375g / 13oz | Cornbread stuffing |
2 | Eggs - beaten | |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Bacon fat |
1 | Onion - chopped | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh parsley - minced |
2 | Celery stalks -- | |

Turkey giblets stock |
Combine salt, sage, thyme, baking powder, pepper, bread crumbs, and eggs.
Melt butter with bacon fat in skillet on low heat; add onion, celery and parsley.
Simmer for about 15 minutes. Mix together the butter and crumb mixtures. Soften to your taste with stock made from stewed giblets.
