Turkey And Mushroom Burgers Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Egg white - (about 2 tbsp) | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | White wine - dry |
1/3 cup | 48g / 1.7oz | Soft French bread crumbs |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground turkey - (breast best) |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Shallots - finely chopped |
2 oz | 56g | Mushrooms - finely chopped |
Cooking spray |
In medium size bowl, beat egg white and wine until blended. Stir in crumbs, salt, pepper and shallots; then lightly mix in turkey and mushrooms. Shape turkey mixture into 6 patties, each about 1/2 inch thick.
Cook just like hamburgers either on the stovetop using non-stick spray on pan or on the grill (best!).
