Beef Spread Recipe - Cooking Index
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried instant minced onion |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dry sherry |
1 | Cream cheese - softened | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Mayonnaise |
1 | Smoked sliced beef - finely diced | |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Green olives - finely diced |
1 | Loaf cocktail rye bread |
In a small bowl, soak dehydrated onion in sherry.
In another bowl, blend cream cheese with mayonnaise.
Add onion. Stir in smoked beef and green olives.
Chill.
Serve on cocktail rye bread.
Note: The flavor is greatly improved if made a day ahead.
