Smoked Sausage Italian Bean Soup

Recipe Ingredients

2 teaspoons 10mlOlive oil
1 lb 454g / 16ozSmoked sausage or polska - kielbasa, sliced
  Lite - or turkey
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozChopped onion
1   Tomatoes - crushed (28oz can)
3 1/2 cups 829mlWater
2   Chicken bouillon
1 cup 237mlSmall pasta shells - uncooked
  - 4 oz)
1   Kidney beans - drained (18oz)

Recipe Instructions

1. In soup kettle or 4-quart saucepan heat oil over medium heat. Add sausage and onion; saute 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Add tomatoes (with juices), water and bouillon; bring to a boil 3. Add pasta and beans. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until pasta is tender, about 15 minutes. Serve
