Baked Tuna Chow Mein Casserole Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter or margarine |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Chopped celery |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Chopped onion |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped green pepper |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter |
1 can | Tuna | |
10 1/2 oz | 298g | Cream of mushroom soup condensed |
1 cup | 237ml | Chow mein noodles |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Chow mein noodles |
In a deep, 1 1/2-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole, melt 2 tablespoons butter or margarine in Microwave Oven 30 seconds. Add celery, onion and green pepper to melted butter. Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Combine remaining ingredients except 1/3 cup chow mein noodles with vegetables Blend well. Top with 1/3 cup of chow mein noodles. Heat in Microwave Oven, uncovered, 10 minutes or until sauce bubbles.
