1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dry Italian salad dressing |
Mix - (good seasons, etc.) | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Margarine - melted |
3 | Chick. Breast - split | |
1 | Cream mushroom soup | |
3 oz | 85g | Cream cheese - softened |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped chives |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Sauterne |
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Instant rice |
Reserve 1/2 tsp. salad dressing mix. In large skillet combine butter and dressing mix; add chicken and brown slowly until golden. Place in 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Blend soup, cream cheese, chives, and sauterne. Spoon over chicken. Bake uncovered at 325 F. for 1 hr. Baste with sauce occasionally.
Serve over rice which has been cooked in water to which the reserved 1/2 tsp. salad dressing mix has been added.
