Oven Fried Chicken Tenders Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Pecans - chopped |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Toasted corn cereal - crushed |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chile powder |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
6 | Boneless chicken breast halves - cut into strips | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Olive oil |
Place pecans in a small microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes to toast. In medium bowl, combine crushed cereal, toasted pecans, salt, chile powder, and pepper; set aside.
Cut each chicken breast into 4 tenders. Dip each chicken tender in oil, then coat with seasoned cereal crumbs. Place tenders in well-greased 9x13 inch glass baking dish.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.
