Orange Cinnamon Chicken

Recipe Ingredients

4 lbs 1816g / 64ozChicken pieces
1 cup 237mlChicken broth
1 cup 160g / 5.6ozRaisins or sultanas
1 tablespoon 15mlFlour
1/4 lb 113g / 4ozButter
2 cups 474mlOrange juice
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlCinnamon
  Salt and pepper - to taste

Recipe Instructions

Heat butter in a large skillet, and brown chicken. Remove chicken to cooker as the brown. Combine all other ingredients, except flour, in skillet. Mix well and pour over chicken. Cover pot, turn on LOW and cook 4-6 hours, or until chicken is tender.

Remove one cup of sauce from pot and combine with flour, mixing well. Return sauce flour mixture to the pot. Turn pot on HIGH and cook and additional half hour.
