Mr. Turkey Sausage And Vegetable Medley

Recipe Ingredients

1 tablespoon 15mlCornstarch
1 tablespoon 15mlBrown sugar
1 tablespoon 15mlLight soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlGround ginger
1 cup 237mlVegetable or chicken broth
1   Mr. Turkey smoked sausage - cut into 1/4" slices
1 tablespoon 15mlOil
4 cups 948mlAssorted cut-up fresh - vegetables
3 4.1666666666667E+14/1.25E+15 cups 533g / 18ozHot cooked rice

Recipe Instructions

In small bowl, combine cornstarch, brown sugar, soy sauce and ginger. Gradually blend in broth until mixture is smooth; set aside. Coat large, non-stick skillet with vegetable spray. Brown sausage; remove. Add oil and vegetables to skillet. Cook, stirring 3-5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Add sausage and broth mixture. Cook, stirring until sauce thickens. Serve over hot rice. Makes 5 servings.

Preparation Time: 20 minutes. Cooking Time: 15 minutes. Serving Size: 1 cup turkey vegetable mixture (approximately 221 calories); 2/3 cups rice (approximately 176 calories).
