Linda's Chicken Tortillas Recipe - Cooking Index
3 oz | 85g | Skinless boneless chicken |
Breast - sliced | ||
1 | Garlic - crushed | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Knorr chicken stock |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Onion - sliced (large) |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Green pepper - sliced (large) |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Salsa |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Lettuce - sliced |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Tomato - cubed |
2 | Tortillas - pepe's whole | |
Wheat 6" |
In medium fry pan add chicken, garlic, water, stock, onion and green pepper. Cook over medium heat until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are slightly tender (water will probably evaporate during cooking time).
If there is still water in pan - drain. Heat salsa in microwave until hot. Divide chicken mixture between two tortillas, add salsa, lettuce and tomato.
