Bacon Chestnut Wraps Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Bacon |
1 packet | Water chestnuts - whole | |
Sauce | ||
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Packed brown sugar |
1 cup | 237ml | Catsup |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Soy sauce |
Precook bacon until limber - not crisp. Cut bacon into halves or thirds. Wrap around water chestnut and secure with a toothpick. Place in 8 x 8 inch pan.
Pour sauce over wraps and bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes or until bacon appears done.
