Juicy Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index
3 cups | 438g / 15oz | Cheerios cereal - finely crushed |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | McCormick/schilling black pepper |
2 1/2 lbs | 1135g / 40oz | Broiler-fryer chicken - cut up |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Evaporated milk |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Blue bonnet margarine - melted |
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line oblong pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches, with aluminum foil. Mix cereal, salt and pepper. Dip chicken into milk; roll in cereal mixture until well coated.
Place chicken skin sides up in pan; drizzle with melted margarine. Bake until chicken is done, about 1 hour (do not turn chicken). 4 servings.
