Honey-Mustard Chicken Sandwiches Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 59ml | Dijon mustard |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Honey |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried oregano |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Water |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Garlic powder |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Cayenne pepper* |
4 | Boneless - skinless chicken halves | |
4 | Sandwich buns - split | |
8 | Tomato slices | |
1 cup | 237ml | Shredded lettuce |
In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Broil chicken 4 in. from the heat for 3 minutes on each side. Brush with mustard sauce. Broil 4-6 minutes longer or until juices run clear, basting and turning several times. Serve on buns with tomato and lettuce.
