Honey-And-Soy-Glazed Chicken Breasts Recipe - Cooking Index
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Soy sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Minced scallions |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Honey |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Grated fresh ginger |
1 | Garlic clove - minced | |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Red pepper flakes |
4 | Chicken breast halves- (about 2 lbs total), with skin and bone |
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, scallions, honey, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Put the chicken in a baking dish and coat on both sides with the marinade. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours, or overnight.
Prepare the grill.
Grill the chicken 6 inches from the heat for about 20 minutes, turning often so it does not scorch, and brushing with any remaining marinade, until chicken is a deep glazed brown and cooked through.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
