Crockpot Savory Beef Stew (7.5 PTS)

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup 237mlSun-dried tomatoes - (not packed in oil)
1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24ozBeef stew meat
12 lbs 5448g / 192ozNew potatoes - cut in half (small)
1 lb 454g / 16ozOnion - cut into wedges (medium)
1   Baby-cut carrots
2 cups 474mlWater
1 1/2 teaspoons 7.5mlSeasoned salt
1   Dried bay leaf
1/4 cup 59mlWater
2 tablespoons 30mlGold Medal all-purpose flour

Recipe Instructions

1. Rehydrate tomatoes as directed on package; drain abd coarsley chop.

2. Mix tomatoes and remaining ingredients except 1/4 cup of water and the

flour in 3 1/2 to 4 quart slow cooker.

3. Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 9 hours or until vegetables and

beef are tender.

4. Mix 1/4 cup water and the flour; gradually stir into beef mixture.

Cover and cook on high setting 10 to 15 minutes longer or until slightly

thickened. Remove bay leaf.
