Southwestern Cheese Cake Recipe - Cooking Index
16 oz | 454g | Cream cheese - (soften) |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Grated cheddar cheese |
1 1/2 | Taco seasoning | |
3 | Eggs - (room temperature) | |
1 | Green chiles, drained, chopped | |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Salsa |
Combine cheese, beat until fluffy. Stir in 1 cup sour cream & taco seasoning. Beat in eggs one at a time. Fold in green chiles. Pour into a 9 inch Springform pan. Bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes. Remove & cool on wire rack for 10 minutes. Spoon the remaining 1 cup of sour cream over top-spread gently. Return to oven for 5 minutes. Take out of oven & cool on wire rack. When cool, refrigerate until ready to serve. To serve remove outer side of pan - top with salsa. Serve with tortilla chips.
